Starting Tuesday through Thursday evening some of Los Angeles’ most visible landmarks — including City Hall, the Getty, the Capitol Records building, US Bank Tower, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Griffith Observatory, Grand Park fountain, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Santa Monica Ferris wheel, Los Angeles International Airport, the Greek Theatre and the new Wilshire Grand skyscraper will light up, in support of the bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. These landmarks will be lit up the colors of the LA sunset, illuminating in tones of yellow, orange, red, and purple. The fancy displays are all an effort to woo the International Olympic Committee, who will be in town this week, to choose Los Angeles for the 2024 Olympics. Don’t miss out and check out these landmarks as they glow and come together to show support for the same cause.
